Architect? Carpenter? Warrior? It’s difficult to describe exactly what Alice does in her role of Production and Stage Manager, primarily because she does everything.
Ransack have nothing but admiration for their very own Wonder Woman, the backbone of the Catching Comets squad.
After studying drama at university, Alice got into stage managing, and started working more generally in the technical side of theatre. At only 22, she was appointed Technical Manager at Hope Mill Theatre, where she has worked on productions such as Hair (Assistant Stage Manager), YANK! (Assistant Stage Manager), Putting It Together (Production Manager) and RAGS The Musical (Production Manager).
We’ve also had the honour of working with Alice before on our production of MOTH by Declan Greene at Hope Mill Theatre in 2017.
Her other stage manager credits include: The Trail (People Zoo Productions), A Kidnapping (Swaggering Crow), Lightning Under Their Skirts (Storm in the North Productions), The Party’s Over (Nonsuch Theatre), Planet Caravan (People Zoo Productions), The Horse Show (People Zoo Productions), PURGE (Collaboration), Edward Gant and His Amazing Feats of Loneliness (People Zoo Productions), Be//Longing (Take Back Theatre) Bear and Butterfly (Hullabaloo Theatre Company).
Catching Comets will preview at Waterside Arts in Sale on 21st & 22nd July 2019 as part of RE:FRACT Festival, before performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival at Pleasance Courtyard between 31st July - 25th August 2019.
